Circle version 1.1.9 now live / Hugh on August 8th

Circle Version 1.1.9 is now live and available for download here.

This update fixes several bugs that affected how Circle interacts with DAW hosts.

As ever, we’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who helped Beta test this latest update to Circle.

Downloaded and installed both x86 and x64 versions of 1.1.9. Ran the x86 standalone and got thrown back to the activation screen. Apparently this long-standing bug, known since at least February 2012 when I was told about the workaround, still exists for Windows 7 users. Once I disabled my network interface card I was able to run the standalone as well as the VST version. Same with the x64 version.

I’m hopeful but not optimistic that the activation process for Windows 7 users will be fixed in your Circle2 release. This is not something I’ve come across in any other VST software that requires registration/licensing/authorization/activation ever.

Version 1.19 works as standalone, but plugin gets failed validation on iMac running Logics Audio Units Manager. Is there a fix?
